A mathematical model of single-screw extrusion. Part X. Experimental verification of the model
Abstract
Experimental verification results are presented for a computer model of the singlescrew extrusion process of polymers. An extruder, 45 mm in diameter (D), and two screw types were used, viz., a classical screw and a nonconventional screw comprising a mixing section.LDPE and PS were extruded.
