Controlled radical polymerization of vinyl monomers in the presence of organometallic compounds of Group III-V elements as active additives

Abstract

A review with 35 refs. covering the specific features of homo and copolymerization of vinyl monomers with allyl compounds and olefins, initiated by organometallic compounds of nontransition metals. When coordinated to the growing macroradicals, the organometallic compounds modify the reactivity and thus directly affect the formation of macromolecules at the chain growth step.
